Take A Hint!

Times Are Changing

If you’re with a guy for seven years and you want to get married what would you do? Would you propose or would you simply leave?
Chrissy Lampkin of Love and Hip Hop, a popular VH1 reality show, decided she would take a leap outside of tradition and propose to her long time boyfriend, rapper, Jim Jones.
A woman proposing to a man is prosperous, some would say while others would say it’s kind of cool? Times are changing. Women are not waiting on traditions anymore. Check out my video on what people think about women flipping the script. http://youtu.be/XFJDDnn709Q Remember to comment below.

Welcome to McBryde Hall

McBryde Hall built originally in 1909. Surprisingly with all the "no eating or drinking" signs, McBryde was the original dining hall for Winthrop University students. It was named after Sarah Crosby Chappell McBryde, who served as school dietitian from 1919-1945.

With the renovation in 1991 many will say McBryde looks a lot like the dinning hall on the popular Harry Potter series, but it was actually inspired by the refectory at Oxford's Christ Church

McBryde is divided in to two separate halls, the Tuttle Dining Room and the Batten Dinning hall, which are both used for smaller affairs. The Hall is now used for social evens such as various Winthrop Events, conferences, and even wedding receptions.
